the marauders eating pancakes together at the potter’s. the marauders running in the rain in their animagi forms. james pushing sirius in the black lake and sirius dragging all of them into the cold water. exhausted remus resting his head on peter’s shoulder. late night talks. pillow fights. sirius waking remus up by sliding a quill over his face. forehead kisses and hugs. remus’s sarcastic comments under his breath during class. james cracking up because of them. piggy back rides. passing notes during class. christmas together. james and remus massaging each other’s feet while hanging out in the common room. peter and sirius sneaking into the kitchen late at night to steal some hot chocolate. sirius putting whipped cream on remus’s nose during breakfast. remus reading silly stories to make the others sleep. james defending werewolves at the top of his lungs so everybody can hear. they watching the stars together from the astronomy tower and getting lost on time until the sun starts to rise. stepping on dry leaves just to hear the crack they make during autumn. giggles. whispers and secrets under the blanket on the poor tent they make on their dorm. the sound of the other’s breath helping remus to sleep when he’s anxious. fights that end without them even notice. useless advices that none of them will take anyway. climbing trees to watch the dawn together. holding hands. laughing. general happiness. making plans. thinking about buying a flat together. living as the family they were. forever.

If you’re not smiling now I suggest you to eat a chocolate. you’ll feel better. then read it all over again. and remember: I love you as they loved each other.
